Katie Perkinson is a visual communications professional in a close personal relationship with Adobe InDesign. An avid reader, typography enthusiast, and podcast connoisseur, she is passionate about good storytelling in any medium.

Though born and raised in Raleigh, NC, she grew up an ABC fan (anything but Carolina). Attending UNC managed to broaden her perspective on team loyalties among many other things. As a Journalism & Mass Communications major specializing in graphic design & editing, she was able to blend her interests in visual and textual communications. These interests carried over into her career and continue to drive her work ethic.

Despite living in Raleigh, NC for the majority of her life (or maybe because of it), Katie is well-traveled and has lived abroad for extended periods. As a result, she believes plans are valuable but flexibility is even more so.

Her travels have also honed her problem-solving skills and team-oriented mentality.
